[Week I] My paragrah: Acid Rain

There are two types of acid rain which include the wet acid rain and the dry acid rain. The wet acid rain can be found in the form of snow, rain, dew, and fog. In the other hand the dry acid rain can be found in the form of gases or dust. Acid rain contains some chemical substances such as carbon oxides, carbon dioxides, nitro oxides, and sulfur dioxides. These substances are hazardous; therefore, acid rain has some bad effects to the environment. First of all, acid rain effects the water population, especially fish. Acid rain pollutes the water by increasing the level of acidity and reducing the amount of oxygen in the water. As a result, it cuts off the water population, because fish can only get along in a certain level of acidity and acid rain prevents the fish from doing respiration. Secondly, acid rain damaged the outer coating of plants which protects the inner parts of the plants. When the outer parts of the plants were damaged, the acid will flow into the plants. This acid will prevent the plant to photosynthesize which brings the plant to death. Last but not least, it also damaged the non-living things. Acid rain decays buildings and statues which might be material for the nation. In conclusion, acid rain has bad influences to the environment which are destroying fully or partially the living things and the non-living things.
