[Week I] Topic Sentences: My Topic

Topic: What are the after-effects of acid rain to the environment?
Intro:
• The wet acid rain(rain, fog, snow) and the dry acid rain (gas)
• Substance (from burning coals, industries, automobile):
• Carbon dioxide
• Carbon monoxide
• CFC
• Nitro oxides
• Sulfur dioxide

Supporting paragraph 1: the after-effects to animals (fish)
It pollutes the water (sea, rivers) by increasing the level of acidity and reducing the amount of oxygen in the water that prevents the fish from doing respiration.

Supporting paragraph 2: the after-effects to plants
Acid rain damaged the outer coating which protects the inner parts of the plants and it prevents the plants to photosynthesize. It also polluted the soil by leaving aluminum which is bad for the plant.

Supporting paragraph 3: the after-effects to the non-living things
It decays buildings and statues which might be one of the historical things for the nation.

Conclusion: acid rain has many bad effects for the environment
